Paul Henri Pittet

After graduating with a master of law from the university of Lausanne, Paul was admitted to the bar in 1991. He first specialised in commercial law at a leading financial institution before joining the in-house legal department of a multi-national pharmaceutical company in Basel. These important experiences led him to lead the legal department of a company representing the interests of the Swiss watch making industry, where he joined efforts to combat counterfeits and geographic indications infringements. In 1999 Paul joined BOVARD as intellectual property specialist.
Amongst Paul's clientele one can find Swiss and international law firms, consultants, start-ups, small businesses as well as multi nationals from varied backgrounds and industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, nutrition, micro technical, precision mechanical and of course art.
From 1996 to 2019 Paul was
judge at the arbitration tribunal in matters of intellectual property, at
Baselworld, an international exhibition for watches and jewellery.
